Boating World Tested Godzilla of Blenders

I've always shown the Totally Gross TailGator® to a multitude of friends, and the uniform response has been, "That's the neatest thing I've ever seen."  But, when I first opened the sturdy nylon carrying case, I didn't know what it was.  Well, of course, I knew it was a blender.

But it wasn't until I saw the starter cord in the base of that I realized: This is a gas-powered blender. Cool!  It's designed for tailgate parties at football games, but it's obviously perfect for boats.  Sure you can buy a 12-volt blender that plugs into your car lighter, but it has the blending power of a wind-up toy.  The TailGator®, on the other hand, is the Godzilla of blenders.

With a load of rock-hard ice cubes in the container, it took just 11 seconds to reduce the cubes to a lump-free froth.  It knocks out chocolate malts, guacamole and, of course, the ubiquitous daiquiris and margaritas in just a few seconds.

Best of all, it's great fun.  A quick pull on the starter with you hand, and you sound like you're ready for the Indy 500.  Rev the engine a couple of times and not only is your blending done, but you've attracted everyone within a hundred yards.
